doorknob confession series
These paintings were completed between 2021 and 2022, and reflect my personal feelings of being locked out of community by, in effect, being locked in my house. While this stands in stark contrast to other forms of incarceration and institutionalization in many ways, the solitary confinement, though porous, is a product of eugenic and genocidal logic and remains inhumane.
